Celia Wogan / Physiotherapist MCSP HPC BSc (Hons)

Celia Wogan

Celia qualified as a Physiotherapist from Brunel University in 1995 and is currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.

She has 10 years experience as the Physiotherapy Team Lead for Trauma and Orthopaedics and a Lower Limb Extended Scope Practitioner at the BRI (Bristol Royal Infirmary), Europe's largest limb reconstruction unit.

Her other interests have led her to have 15 years experience within the world of Rugby, including Bath RFC, Clifton RFC and other local Bristol sides. She is currently the physiotherapist for the MCCU elite cricket squad and a premier league hockey team in Cardiff and is a the physiotherapist for the Great Britain Ultimate Frisbee Team, about to go to the World Championships in Venice.
 
To complete the final part of a Sports and Exercise Medicine Msc at University of Wales Institute, Cardiff , she is carrying out some novel research assessing functional performance pre and post Medial Patello Femoral Ligament Reconstruction for Patella Instability with Jonathan Eldridge (Orthopaedic Surgeon) and whether these tests can be used to predict return to sporting activity.
She is an active sportswoman, plays first division softball and is a regular gym member.
