Jo graduated with a 2:1 degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham in 2009. She worked as a rotational physiotherapist in a large teaching hospital before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in 2011.
Over the last 6 years she has gained experience managing acute and chronic sports injuries, work related disorders and long-term conditions in the NHS and private practice. She has experience working alongside consultant physiotherapists to manage complex spinal and peripheral conditions. She has helped to set up an occupational health service for staff with work related conditions in the NHS.
Jo is qualified in Acupuncture, APPI Pilates and sports massage and has completed many postgraduate courses including joint manipulation and mobilisation.
Outside of work Jo is a keen violinist, enjoys being outdoors walking, sailing, surfing, skiing, running, doing yoga and travelling to explore new places.
