Gareth qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2012 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He has 7 years of private practice experience dealing with musculoskeletal issues and sports injuries.

His post grad studies included OMT (Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy), which is the evidence-based biopsychosocial management of patients with neuro-musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. He has completed dry needling courses and is a BASI qualified Pilates mat work teacher. Gareth previously was the Head Physio for a South African premier league football team, Golden Arrows FC. He also gained experience working with provincial cricket as well as school boy provincial rugby teams. Gareth is trained in Shockwave Therapy here at Bristol Physiotherapy Clinic, a cutting edge treatment for persistent tendon problems.

Gareth has a passion for sports, fitness and rehabilitation. He enjoys the outdoor activities and uses time to train and compete in triathlon and running races.
